I think WD has to ride the hot hand of Markstrom on Thursday. Throwing Miller back into the lions den by playing the Capitals could start something rarely seen in Vancouver; a goalie controversy.

Looks like Jake has his left elbow bandaged in that photo Carol, hope that's not an ongoing issue for him?

Thorton losing to the Cancuks must have just given him nightmares last night. Especially with Danny scoring the winner.

Stay classy Douche bag.

If we can draft a good dman thisbyear and maybe sign one we are looking real good for future what an absolute steal that etem trade is going to be. We're getting bigger and faster and developing a snarl. Great job Jb

Edit. Like to say thank you to the sedin twins for being the absolute best players this franchise has ever seen including linden. They're are absolutely remarkable and there is really nothing else we can possibly say about them. Enjoy your day all

I have wanted the addition of more grit for quite some time, not sure if this makes me a hypocrite, but I hope we trade Prust.

The future is bright though.

That Etem deal may just work out. need to be patient.

Didn't Tanev only play a few games? I think he gets a pass on being "old regime" and can be considered the first step in the youth movement.

Evolving into a man with zero s#$ts left to give Thanks Carol.

Definetly like the looks of that JV/vey/Etem line, which is saying a lot as a guy who has never been too high on Vey. If we win with these two kid lines (bo/sven) I'm fine with it, but I don't see it down the stretch with edmonton and SJ getting healthy

They were talking about the difference from last year to this year. The 1040 specifically called out Tanev about how he stood around and just watched Daniel being abused.

I totally agree and have come out a few times and called Tanev and Edler chicken Sh1ts. Last night you could see the group mentality changing. All the young guys immediately jumped in without thinking ready to brawl. Same with Biega the other night when Hank got nailed and jumped in against someone 7 inches taller.

That is mostly the reason I want full scale change. Higgins would never jump in, nor Edler Tanev . This new gang mentality is exciting. Imagine that a team battling together.

Out with the old in with the new.

I'd rather them take a crack at eleksiak(or whatever his weird name is) on Dallas. Currently in the press box, but big young and physical defensive guy

I am not a big nostalgia guy so Daniel tying Marcus does little to excite me. What impressed me more is you have an old guy close to the most goals this year.

Daniel popped in his 19 th last night with the season barely over the mid way mark. I hated Daniels play over the last three years. I don't know how many times I said the first line does not need 2 centres. I was ready to get rid of him at any costs because I felt he was not doing what he was expected to do.

The sniper is back and very good on him.

When we had a better pp, I could understand the mentality of turning the other cheek, and make the opponent pay... Since our pp has been awful, the taking the beating for the pp hasn't worked.

It is good to see a team stick together and look out for each other.

I heard this mentioned on the radio today , but I was thinking the other day when was the last time we seen Canuck forwards dangle the puck at high speed. Bure?

Meh, Tanev more then makes up for his "soft" persona with solid D play and at a very reasonable price. I'd keep him as a solid top 4 guy.
